5 things every tradie website needs
- Your phone number as a tap-to-call button near the top of the page.
- The suburbs or areas you service, written out in plain text, so locals (and search engines) can see you cover their area.
- Your licence number if your trade needs one. Many states require it in advertising, so check the rules for your state.
- Real photos of your work, your van and your team, rather than stock photos.
- A short enquiry form that only asks what you need: name, suburb, the job and the best way to reach them.
Get more from your Google Business Profile
- Choose the primary category that best describes your business. Google uses it to match you to searches.
- Keep your hours up to date, including public holiday hours.
- Add fresh photos now and then: your work, your shopfront or van, and your team.
- Reply to reviews, good and bad, politely and promptly.
- Only ask real customers for reviews, and don't offer anything in return. Google's policies don't allow incentivised reviews.

Are the videos made with AI?
Yes, AI-assisted, and we're upfront about it. We use AI tools (such as Runway and Canva) to generate or enhance visuals and music, and combine them with your own photos, clips and logo. A real person writes the script, edits and checks every video before you see it. We never use anyone's face, likeness or voice without permission, and we don't make fake customers or testimonials.
Do I need to film anything?
No filming needed. Send 5–20 photos or short phone clips of your venue, products or work. If you don't have much, we can fill gaps with AI-generated shots and will always tell you which shots are generated.
Do we have to get on a call?
No. Everything runs by email: brief form, drafts, revisions and delivery. You'll get a reply within 24 hours (Sydney time). If you'd really like a quick chat, we can book a 15-minute evening call.
What about my domain name and hosting?
You buy your domain (e.g. yourbusiness.com.au) in your own name, and we'll walk you through it. We host the site on a reliable static host and connect it to your domain. With the optional A$49/mo care plan we also handle small updates. Founding clients get the first 3 months free on a new website build.
Who owns the videos?
Once paid in full, you can use the final videos to market your business, forever. Because AI tools are involved, some elements may not be completely unique. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you'd rather we didn't.
Will this get me more followers or sales?
Honestly, we can't promise numbers. What we can promise is clear, good-looking content that explains your offer quickly, delivered on time.
Do you post the videos for me?
You stay in control of your accounts and do the posting. The Monthly plan includes ready-to-paste captions and hashtags to make it a 2-minute job.
What if I'm not sure I need a website yet?
Ask us anyway. If a free Google Business Profile or your existing socials would do the job for now, we'll tell you. Plain-English advice, no sales pitch.
